This was given to a student to introduce them to the basic finger-tapping pattern of "tap, pull-off, pull-off". The fretting hand continues to play the same two notes throughout this, while the tapping hand moves to a new fret/note each bar.

Gallop Rhythm for 2 Bars then Reverse Gallops for 2 Bars Using Palm-Mute Accents and Power Chords11/21/2018
This exercise/riff starts with 2 bars of a gallop rhythm, followed by 2 bars of a reverse gallop. Power chords are used here with palm-mutes on all of the 16th notes.
The rhythm count is 1_na2_na3_na4_na|1_na2_na3_na4_na 1en_2en_3en_4en_|1en_2en_3en_4en_
