Keeley 4 Knob Compressor Pedal Review

Easy to Use Convenient Compressor

Having things simple is very important to me. I hate messing around with a bunch of unnecessary crap.

The 4 Knob Compressor Pedal from Keeley works perfectly for me. It's small, has sturdy construction, and easy to use.

Benefits of Using a Compressor

Here are some reasons why I use a compressor.
  • It allows for quite notes (softly played notes) to be heard at the same level as the louder notes (heavier picked notes).
    • When you play fast music and like to shred, it is very important to have all of your notes heard.
  • You can practice without distortion and still hear all your notes come out.
    • Sometimes distortion can give the illusion that a note was played when you really start picking up speed. Using the compressor allows your ear to tell the difference between a picked note, or a flubbed note much easier when played on a clean amp channel.
  • Thickens Up Your Sound
    • Metal Guitars call for a nice thick sound. A good compressor is a must have to really thicken up your guitars in recording.

User Feedback

"If you've been using inexpensive or midprice compressors, or are convinced that only the vintage Boss compressors are worthy, springing for a Keeley will be a revelation."
-Peter B. Hales
"Amazing pedal. Gives my sound so much beef and the 4 knobs allow you to change and mess with your sound until you're happy! I totally recommend it!!"
-Ivan
"What can I say? It's the best stomp box compressor I have ever used. It beats out a bunch of the crappier rack compressors I've used. Shell out the cash and it won't disappoint."
-Matthieu P. Decker

Improve Your Guitar Sound

Seriously, a compressor is an absolute must have if you want to get the best possible sound from your guitar.

I highly recommend the 4 Knob Keeley Compressor. It has never let me down!
