This guitar log is about taking the chromatic descending section and working to improve it.

I have a song out called Juggernaut. Here's the original release:
I had the privilege of playing this song when Troy Grady from Cracking the Code came out to interview me.
A new ending is in the works. Well, it's written now. This guitar log documents some practice with the new ending.
After having tested out several new picks, this guitar log shows some metronome tests for the new favorite picks.
Eventually, the 6mm Gravity Pick won out.
This is guitar log ( #glog ) numero uno!
I kicked things off by testing out various guitar picks in search of a replacement to the Sik Piks I've been using exclusively for about 4 years straight. The 6 mm Gravity Pick turned out to be my favorite. I find the 3 mm Dunlop Primetone pick to be my favorite on the acoustic. This video is full of noodling and riffing to really give these picks a solid test. |
What kind of guitar practice does it take to see real results?
The Mile High Shred guitar log are video logs that show how I practice, what I practice, etc. These videos back up the things I tell students to do when practicing, and gives you a direct look at how improving your speed and accuracy is done. Some videos are just documenting my fudging around. Gotta have SOME fun! AuthorJohn Taylor, guitar teacher for Mile High Shred. ArchivesCategories
